Managers Profile

Michelle Delaney

I have spent over 17 years in care and 13 of those wonderful years were spent working at The White House. I was appointed Manager in April 2016. I started working for The White House in 1999 as a night carer when the new dementia annex was opened. I worked my way up to become Deputy Manager before leaving in 2013 and completed my QCF level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health and Social Care.

I chose to come back to The White House because I share the same organisation’s ethos which is a passion for delivering the highest standards of care to our residents. I want to work in partnership with the owner of the home in raising the overall standards of care and improve the facilities on offer. My main aim is to uphold the resident’s dignity and pride. I want to offer regular trips out to local attractions as part of the plan to improve activities for our residents. I pride myself in supporting and mentoring our staff and it is a real privilege to be part of the team here at The White House. I am looking forward to putting my knowledge and experience into practice.
